MY LIFE AS A SPIDER:
How I love being a spider,
With very long legs of eight.
Not many people like me,
I'm something they love to hate.
I hide in a dark corner,
Until they are watching TV.
Then run across the floor
Heavens! Don't they scream.
Then again I'll curl up on the ceiling,
Just overhead.
Then make my grand appearance
As I leap upon their bed.
But I am far too quick for them,
I've given them a fright.
Having witnessed many people
Stay awake all night.
I'm just am ordinary spider,
Npt one with legs that are hairy,.
But live from day to day,
Quite happily making humans scary.

Thanks for starting my day with a smile. Fun poem. I like garden spiders, as long as they're outside. They're so colorful. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletePleased it brought a smile to your face, actually I am not too keen on spiders,
DeleteEnjoy your week-end.
The cat thinks there is a treat when a spider comes to greet
ReplyDeleteI can tun faster than a cat,
DeleteHave a good week-end.
You wouldn't be too quick for me. I'd catch you and place your furry self outside where you belong.
ReplyDeleteI bet I could run faster than you any day,
DeleteHave a good week-end, have a rest before the A to Z starts.
Just the picture sent a little shiver down my spine! Great poem though.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like spiders, just a few experiences I have had with them.
DeleteThanks for the visit, enjoy your week-end.
What phobia can do to small hearts. These are capitalized by small creatures. They don't even mean any harm! Nicely Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteHank
I did have one drop onto my bed one night, scared me at the time, but they're all God's creatures at the end of the day.
DeleteThanks for your comment.
I also don't like spiders, but your cute poem made them seem less scary!
