WELCOME TO THE ATO Z CHALLENGE 2015,
WE ARE CERTAINLY GET THROUGH
THE ALPHABET.
I WILL STILL CONTINUE MY THEME
CHOOSING A SONG TITLE
THEN WRITE MY OWN POEM:
O
is for
ONLY YOU
RECORDED BY THE PLATTERS.
Only you are in my dreams,
In the ebony dark of the night.
I think og bygone days,
Until the dark becomes light.
Only you could read my mind,
That too I recall.
All the happiness we shared,
We certainly had a ball.
Only you would laugh and joke
Along with our faithful friends.
When we went on holidays,
Friendships like that never ends.
Only you was impatient to becom a grandfather,
And was proud as proud could be.
When our first grandchild entered this world
On that beautiful Saturday.
Only you could hold me close
When my mum did pass away.
You said you'd look after me
Forever and a day.
Only you could be so brave,
Three days later when told
You only had months to live,
Yes! you were so brave and bold.
Only you can remain in my heart,
After all these years.
Somewhere beyond the sunset,
You hear me laugh and dispels my many fears.
