THE RE-AWAKENING:
forever being the optismist I am looking forward
to better days of spring during the bad weather
we are now expeiriencing.
Nature is re-awkening after winter's gloom and doom,
The flowers in the garden are beginning to bloom.
Squirrels are jumping from tree to tree,
Baby lambs are in the fields for all to see.
Lovers walk hand in hand in a world of their own.
Also baby birds from their nest have finaly flown.
The scattered April showers that do come our way,
Is making way for the sunshine in May.
This is a wonderful time of the year,
When skies at night are wonderfully clear.
I wouldn't miss this time of the year for anything,
The time of Mother Nature's re-awakening.

Spring is so refreshing after the cold winter. Wild verbena are already peeking through the earth. Soon birds will be building their nests. The humming birds usually appear near the end of March. I need to get my feeders ready. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteLucky you being able to feed the wildlife, that is one thing I do miss living in this apartment, at my last place had plenty of birds and squirrels, Thanks for your comment Beverly.
