A TO Z CHALLENGE 2017:
,My theme this year is RHYTHM and RHYME:
Which conssts of a song with my poem.
Hope you enjoy:
D is for DONNA, DONNA
by
THE EVERLY BROTHERS:
This song goes back to the sixties,
Which altered the course of my life.
Especially when I had a daughter,
Many years later when I became a wife.
You see, I through this song.
The name Donna I liked the sound.
That when my daughter was born,
Her name was already found.
She is a daughter to be proud of,
That I hasten to say.
Although we are estranged at present.
My unconditional will always stay.

I've always liked the name Donna. I thought this clip was going to be a different version of the Ritchie Valens song of the same name but it's a completely different song. I don't remember ever having heard this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tigermouse, I think the "Other Donna" came out first.
