A TO Z CHALLENGE 2017:
My theme this year is RYHTHM and RHYME:
Which consists of a song and poem:
Hope you enjoy:
Is for HONESTY:
by
BILLY JOEL:
My mother always instilled in me.
That honesty was the best policy.
Which I've always tried to do.
Whatever problems I've been through.
If you can't be true to yourself,
How can you be true to others.
This I've figured out,
Remembering the words of my dear mother.
I taught this to my three offsprings.
Very early in their life.
I like to think they still remember this,
Albeit all the tears and strife.
As Shakespeare reminded us, the truth will out! Best be honest.
