LAST SUNDAY IN SEPTEMBER:

LAST SUNDAY IN SEPTEMBER:
My! this is the last Sunday in September,
Where has the month gone?.
I took an early morning stroll along the beach,
Humming a happy song.

As I walked along the sea edge.
My troubles going with the ebbing tide.
The sun just awakening in the sky.
Happily following by my side.

It's lovely here in the early morn.
The soft breeze caressing my face.
Feels good to be alive,
Part of the human race.

Today I hope to do some relaxing,
Listening to my relaxation CDs.
It helps put life into perspective.
Instead of falling on one's knees.

I wish you all Happy Sunday,
Whatever you may do.
You can be sure of one thing friends,
I will be thinking of you.

  1. What a lovely poem with some kind sentiments. Glad you enjoy your strolls by the beach. It's nice to see the sun rise, such beautiful colours in the sky. Enjoy your relaxation CDs. I'm off to take my mother shopping today, she struggles on her feet! I enjoyed reading, well done.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.

    1. Have a lovely time with your friend Joanne and leave the man to his football. My youngest son used to play pro. soccer until an accident forced him to hang up his boots.

  5. Walking by the sea must help set the mind at ease. Let those puzzles blow away with the breeze.

  6. Morning is a lovely time to take a walk. That's the time of day Tiger and I prefer. A gentle breeze, not too hot or cold, and birds in the sky start my day off just right. Since we're in the country, there's very little traffic, so it's usually nice and quiet.
    Have a super week.

    1. Yes Beverly I know what you mean about the magic of early morning. I live in a busy area of the South Coast so prefer the "Magic of Morning".

Music soothes the savage breast so says the Bard. Very true, Yvonne!
