HELLO FRIDAY:

HELLO FRIDAY:
Out at 7am in the wind.
Heading for the shops.
My larder was crying out for food.
And was back before eight o' clock.

The sun is shinning beautifully,
After a night of high winds and rain.
It's going to be changeable over the weekend,
Should it be bad, indoors I'll remain.

The onset of yet another weekend.
Walks then relaxation the order of the day.
There are some good programmes on TV.
"The X Factor" for a start certainly coming my way.

I wish you all a happy weekend.
Whatever your plans may be.
I sincerely hope those hurricanes have gone.
From across the sea.

  4. We've had lovely rain all day that we did need. The cats aren't happy because they had to stay inside. And I now have a dog it seems. Long story will share later. He, poor thing, had to stay out in the rain because he's too big to come in the house. I had planned to do my shopping, but stayed home instead. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Whatever it is I'll enjoy the weekend. Have a good weekend, relax, and enjoy.

    1. Whatever sort of dog do you have Beverly?
Pleased the rain came at last.

      Enjoy your weekend.

    2. He's a mix of German Shepherd and I don't know what else. Big dog and young, the reason I can't let him in the house. I hate him having to stay out in the rain and fixed him a place in the pump house. He won't go in it. Stays on the patio. I'm debating whether to keep him. Somebody dumped him at my gate. I couldn't let him starve. He's real hyper and I'm trying to calm him down. When he looks at me with big sad eyes and his tail is wiggling back and forth, I melt. I'm not sure what to do.

    3. The poor dog, whoever dumped him at your place knew you were a kind person. What a dilemma to be in Beverly.

  5. Are most of the stores you need, such as the grocery store, within walking distance?
