WE'RE BACK:

WE'RE BACK:
Tennessee and myself have returned,
On this brand new week.
Had to take a little break.
For peace of mind to seek.

You see the other weekend.
I had some news that caused  anxiety,
About my son in Spain,
Who's suffering from the "Big C"

It appears they can't commence his treatment,
Why? not sure about that.
The only living thing I had to concole me
Was dear Tennessee the cat.

I've not heard anymore updates,
From my son here in the UK.
It's like living a nightmare.
Is very obvious to say.

I'm trying to live a "Normal Life"
Whatever normal may be.
We do feel refreshed from the break,
Dear Tennessee and me.

I hope this new week for you,
Is all you hope it to be.
From a very special friend and cat,
From across the sea.

    1. Thank you Alex, I'm afraid I don't have my daughter-law's phone number or email address. Rob is the only contact.......when he thinks about letting me know.

  3. Hope you find out more soon. It is so hard watching a child go through cancer treatments. I hope Rob keeps you updated.

  8. It's difficult sitting on pins and needles like that, but such is life. You seem to be taking things well. Your rhyme is in fine form and the lines flowed so smoothly.
