A NEW WINTER WEEK:
Winter has arrived plus a new week.
I wish you all the best.
As you try and recover,
From the weekend's rest.
Tennesee has had his meal.
Much to his delight.
When the sun rises.
He'll be gone out of sight.
I have some shopping to do today.
Should the rain do stop.
It's not much fun going out in the cold.
Even if it's only to the shops.
I enjoyed the weekend's rest.
After household chores were complete.
I caught up with some reading and TV.
Taking the weight off my feet.
New hope for this this new week,
I send to one and all.
Whatever and wherever you are.
I hope you have a ball.
Should the weather be rainly and cold,
Let the sun shine in your heart.
I'm doing my best to achieve that.
As this new week do start.
HAPPY NEW WEEK:
Yvonne Lewis 03/12/2018:
Greetings Yvonne. I've been in all Weekend - got lots done. I didn't know Winter was here in date! They forecast a cold one this year for us in the UK? Glad your Weekend went smoothly and you got your chores done. Give Tennessee a pet from me (don't tell Sadie! Ha). Hope the rain recedes to give you the chance to have a walk to your local shops. Are you not walking on the beach much while it's cold? I'll try and have a 'ball' this Week as you've suggested. Taking my Mother the Dr's Surgery at ten, she's got the flu and has an infection! Thank you for your well wishes, they are warmly received. Taking Sadie out now for a walk - it's heavily raining here in Chester. Blessings. Love love, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteI hope your mother feels better soon Andrew. Can't be much fun feeling unwell with the flu. No, I don't get to the beach too often these days not since my son passed away as I don't feel safe going out and about without not many people about. Hope the rain soon clears where you are.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day.
Yvonne.
Will do. No, not much fun for my Mum! If you find me absent any time soon it's because I haven't paid my Sky yet, and might get my internet cut off until I pay them. But I'll be back next week when I pay them. Enjoy your day too. Sorry you are not walking on the beach much! Better safe than sorry! Blessings. Love love, Andrew.
DeleteLove all the pictures of the various cats you post at your headers.
DeleteHope you're not without your internet for long Andrew.
DeleteI too like the cat photo's it brightens my day.
Thanks.
Yvonne.
sunshine weekend and now a gray Monday. That's okay. Ray decorated lights for Christmas and we are looking festive in Dec. It's the small things. Have a good week
ReplyDeleteYou're so right about the small things Joanne. Thanks for your comment/
DeleteHave a good week.
Yvonne.
You paint such a cheery future for us all to look forward to. I enjoyed reading your poem, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Spacer Guy, have a good week.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
I love Tennessee and I've never met him. But cats seem to have a sense that their company makes us smile. Our weather has dropped from 70 degree temperatures to the 40s. I'm not liking it, but have no control. They're even forecasting a chance for snow next week. It's pretty, but that's all I can say. A happy week to you and Tennessee. May the sunshine in your heart as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Beverly, my that's some drop in the temperature. Keep warm, well and happy.
DeleteYvonne.
Was warm today, so no snow our way!
ReplyDeleteGood for you Pat. Thanks.
DeleteYvonne.
It is much colder now as we head into December. I'm glad Tenessee is still enjoying his visits and cuddles.
ReplyDeleteHello Suzanne hope all is well, yes Tennessee is good company especially after losing my son he has helped alot.
DeleteHope your weather don't turn in nasty.
Yvonne.
It's chilly here, but my granddaughter and I are always on the move. She loves going out and about. Stay warm.
ReplyDeletePleased you're able to get out and about although chilly.
DeleteI love the beach but take each day as it comes.
Enjoy your week Susan.
