WEEKEND ON THE WAY:
The onset of the weekend is here,
The weather all white with snow.
Will be remaining indoors today.
Thought I'd let you know.

I sincerely hope your weekend
Will be grand in every way.
The weather for you better,
That's what I'd like to say.

Tennessee  has had his meal.
Now resting by the fire.
To say that doen't give me pleasure.
I would be a liar.

Well , off to do my chores now.
Before the day of TV begins.
Here were are in Februuary,
A day nearer to Spring.

    So true that it is one day closer to spring! I'm liking the fact that sunset is around 6 p.m. instead of 5:20 p.m. like it was a month ago. Liking the extra light in the evening. It will be an exciting weekend for those that follow football here with the Super Bowl on Sunday. Enjoy the snow; it is pretty to look at if one doesn't have to be out in it.

      We were lighting up at 4pm but now it's 5pm that extra hour do make all the difference Betty. My late son used to be a pro soccer player when he was younger very proud of hime was his dad and I. It has just started to snow again as I write so another evening of winter land.

    We're getting a break from winter weather, Yvonne. Temperatures in the 50s to day and all next week, some even in the 60s. The cats and dog are happy. And I enjoyed my walk today. Hope your spring arrives early. Have a nice weekend.

      Pleased your weather is better today(Sat) it is lovely and sunny but due to my arthitis in my spine and shoulders am resting.
      still Beverly could be worse I suppose.

    Indeed, we've been having a bit of snow and some pretty cold temperatures. Then, I chatted with my friend in Chicago and I started feeling pretty darned warm.
