HAVE A PEACEFUL SUNDAY:
With the issues of the past week
Now in the past.
May your Sunday be peaceful
And long may that peace last.
I hear in the distance
The chimes of the church bells.
Beckoning people to attend.
Over hill and over dale.
There are quite a few churches,
Closeby to where I reaside.
All in different directions,
Their precnece one can't hide.
Many of the holiday visitors
Attend that's for sure.
A habit of a life time.
Who could ask for more.
I was thinking last evening
About Tennessee my adopted cat.
Wondered how he was getting on,
Way up North in his new flat.
We had some very special
Moments that I recall.
Oh the pleasure he gave me,
We certainly had a ball.
Once again A Peaceful Sunday
One and all.
If you should be my way.
Pop in, yes do please call.
