GOODBYE SEPTEMBER:

GOODBYE SEPTEMBER:
 
With Autumn well underway,
The leaves fall to the ground.
No more dawn chorus,
As the birds left without a sound.
 
The last day of September,
Gone is last week's heavy rain.
Perhhaps if all goes well,
I can continue my walks again.
 
I have a few unsettled weeks,
Memory wise I fear.
I hope you won't give up on me.
If  things are not right here.
 
Do have a wonderful new week,
Whatever the weather, rain or sun.
That you can remark at the end of the week,
"Yes ! this week has been fun.

    Hope your week goes fine. All my weeks are exhausting and fun with my granddaughter. Tomorrow we're doing the playground and then raking leaves at home.

      It's fun when the grand kids are young. I used to embarresed mine by going down the slide at the park..... oh happy days.

    I enjoy the fall season. Temperatures are getting better though they're still in the 90s. They won't be for long. The leaves are falling. Hummingbirds are still here but will soon be gone. Wishing a lovely October for you, Yvonne, with pleasant days and few worries.

    Please hang in there with your blogging friends, Yvonne! I keep worrying about Andrew and wonder what happened to him. It is chilly in Colorado after a week in warm Las Vegas. It was dark when we arrived home, so I won't know how the leaves are until tomorrow. I'll be back to catch up some more tomorrow. Take care!
