HAPPINESS ON WEDNESDAY:
Yesterday was a productive day,
In many ways for one.
Apart from having my eye test,
I had some wonderful fun.
After being told I had
A very small cateract.
I decided there and then.
I indeed needed to "Act".
There were many household task
That were just waiting to be done.
The laundry was piling up,
Yes! I was going to have some fun.
I washed the pile of clothes,
Then put clean linen on my bed.
Wahed that also I may add.
All the time looking ahead.
In the afterneen I went shopping,
As food was running low.
My cupboards and freezer don't like being empty,
This I have you know.
I went also to have a coffee whilst out,
Also a slice of cake.
As all the activity of the day,
My feet began to ache.
Today will all chores completed,
Will take it easy this I say.
May all of my blogging friends.
Have happiness on this Wednesday
HAPPY WEDNESDAY:

excellent day. Now you've inspired me. I have chores I should do after work including getting a haircut. And good luck with the cataract - hopefully it won't progress fast and you can keep seeing well without surgery yet.
ReplyDeleteSit back and enjoy a calm Wed

DeleteThanks for your concern about my eye they said it was very tiny at present so keeping my fingers croseed.

Sorry about your cataract. Hopefully you got it taken care of and can see clearly now.
ReplyDeleteIt;s very tiny at the moment so they are not doing anything, have to go back in six months. Thank you Sherry for your comment.

One small cataract isn't so bad is it? You accomplished more today that I did. Mostly, I played with my granddaughter. She's talking so much now, we are having constant conversations.
ReplyDeleteI agree Susan about the cataract, many people have them worse than me. Continue to have dun with your granddaughter they are precious.
DeleteYvonne.
Enjoy your day of taking it easy.
ReplyDeleteThank you Chrys.

You made me smile when you mentioned the laundry, Yvonne. It seems like there's always something to wash. I was very unhappy with the doggy when I woke up. He had pulled all his blankets and covers out of his doghouse and sat there beside them, like what do I do now? It was cold too. I gave him a good lecture, brought the stuff inside and warmed them up in the dryer. I think he knows I'm not happy with him.The coffee sounds good. My doctor has limited me to coffee and tea. What do you drink? Water, of course. Have a pleasant Friday.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Beverly, Dog in the doghouse I guess.
DeleteI only have one coffee a day,( first thing in the morning) most of the time I drink water and fresh orange juice.
Have a good friday and November.
Yvonne.
Happy Halloween:)
ReplyDeleteYou also. Sandra.

Hi, Yvonne! You did have a productive day on Tuesday, Yvonne, and I hope you had a relaxing Wednesday. My Wednesday was highly stressful. It was a second day of snow and very cold temperatures for us. I had to drive on bad roads to get to the dentist to have an unexpected cavity ~ first one in a very long time. The dentist had trouble getting to the office himself and arrive half an hour after I did. Then he realized that my cavity was actually staining and not something he had to nip in the bud. So I drove back through the snowstorm over icy roads and made myself go to the grocery store ~ My cupboards and freezer don't like being empty either! As for cataracts, it's been almost two weeks since I had my second one done. It's gone well, and I'm thrilled with my new vision. Tonight will be the first time I won't have an eye patch on when I go to bed ~ Yay! And soon I'll be done with the drops ~ Double yay! Take care, my friend, and don't stress over having a cataract removed. It's inconvenient, but not like major surgery!
ReplyDeleteHope your snow has gone, not so good when travelling. Pleased you have discarded your eye patch. I have to return to the opticians in 6 months, I get my new specs on Tuesday.
DeleteHave a good week.
Yvonne.
