OH THE JOYS OF WEEKEND:?
Today I am forced to have the new blog.
One I've been advoiding.
Should my post seem strange to you,
I apologise ...I don't know what I'm doing.
I was looking forward to the weekend,
But this thrust upon me, not so sure.
I will have to sit and survey what it entails,
If I want to write for ever more.
If any of you could give me some tips,
Grateful without doubt I would be.
I hope you all have a wonderful few days,
As I sit infront of my laptop patiently.
How do one write a shecduled post?
Very often I would write ahead
Something else in this unsettled world.
Oh! I wished I'd had stayed in bed.
Once again dear friends,
Enjoy your weekend without doubt.
May you make some wonderful memories,
That's what life's all about.
This is not the post I intended to write,
But Blogger mad me changed my mind.
I made this up as I went along.
So please dear friends do be "Kind".

looks great and you winged it well. Wow. Well done. We'll muddle along on it together. It's been working out okay and you do get to schedule posts - pick the date and time, when you push publish it asks - you want this published on ___? click okay. Should work, has for me. Have a good weekend and don't fret.

ReplyDeleteFor scheduled posts in Blogger, go to Scheduled On (right hand side). A calendar pops up. Click on the date and then use the drop down menu to choose the time. Then hit publish :)

Looks good Yvonne! I don't know how to preschedule posts with the new Blogger. It is a bit to get used to. I can't link photos from my phone like I used to without having to put them into Google photos. Bit of a pain but in time I'm sure we'll all figure it out! Try to have a nice weekend!

I think you did great, Yvonne! I see several people have sent you ideas about the scheduling. I would only add that when I want to schedule a post what I see on the right is something like (for example) "Published on 9/18/20 6:41 PM" and a downward pointing arrow. Only by clicking on that downward arrow do I get scheduling options. When I click on that arrow, a calendar and two options open up: "Automatic" ~ which will be whatever time it is when you push publish and "Set Date and Time." To schedule in advance you must choose "Set Date and Time," and select the date on the calendar you want and type in the time. Make sure you click on "Publish" after that. And you should be good to go! Meanwhile have a great weekend! Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteI did try Louise but it didn't work... so deleted it. I can't write a post early in my day and no matter what date or time I put it is only UK time and date.
