12th DAY OF CHRISTMAS:

12th.DAY OF CHRISTMAS:
My, it's the 12th day of Christmas,
Would you believe?
Time certainly does past by quickly,
This one cannot decieve.

What has happened since Christmas?
Well here it's still windy and rain.
Which makes going out to get fresh air,
Certainly a pain.

We've had a few intervals of sunshine,
Just to let us know it's still there.
But all too soon the rain returns.
Bringing on thoughts of despair.

There have been very stormy weather
Throughout Ireland and the UK.
Not so bad here on the south coast,
That can certainly stay away.

Have a grand weekend,
Nearly a week gone of the new year.
Don't forget that smile on your face
To dispel unhappiness and fears.

  1. Greetings Yvonne. A well written poetic-piece with good rhymes. Time is flying by! Sorry you're experiencing bad weather, which is preventing you from having your walks! I have to go out whatever the weather to take my pet dog, Sadie, for a walk! I have my Berghaus coat, which is a great protection against the wind and rain! Have a nice Week-end yourself. Blessings to you.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
