THE PHONE CALL:
On Tuesday evening my phone did ring.
It was from the UK, my eldest son.
I was over the moon to hear his voice,
But realised it was not for fun.
I am devastated
At the news he did give to me.
You see my dear blogging friends.
My youger son in Spain has the "Big C"
He has it in his colon and liver,
I am stunned and horrified.
I didn't know he has been unwell.
The tears I cannot hide.
My eldest son was a sufferer,
A big operation last year.
I thought my recent problems was awful.
But this I cannot bear.
I spent yesterday crying,
Will pray all will be well.
Who knows what the future holds,
One can never tell.
