MARKET DAY:
As I took my 6am
Daily morning stroll.
People were already,
Erecting their market stalls.
With many "Good Mornings"
Coming my way.
I shall return to the market
Later in the day.
The pigeons were awaiting
To have their morning feed.
Some kind person puts seeds out.
Very kind indeed.
In the air was a slight drizzle,
Most refreshing I may say.
Wondering if it will rain heavily
Later in the day.
Have a lovely Thursday,
Wherever you may be.
Whether here in the UK
Or across the mighty sea.

6 AM is early. But some of us are up at that hour anyway.

another hot spell here this week. Market vendors here would be soggy from sweat. Enjoy and buy something extra - you deserve a treat

Sounds like a lovely way to start the day. I always enjoy walking in the morning. The afternoons are too hot. Hopefully, that will change soon, and autumn weather will be nice and cool. Have a great day.
