GOODBYE 2018:

GOODBYE 2018:
Tonight we say goodbye to 2018.
I for one won't be sad.
For many, many trials and tribulations
I indeed did have.
 
I got through most of them,
But just when I thought it time for fun.
I had the worse experience a mother could have.
I lost my youngest son.
 
Will you be celebrating tonight,?
Or will you be asleep.
As 2019 slips quietly in.
In to have a peep.
 
I will go to bed early,
As soon as the firework display is done.
It is always around 9-30pm.
So the children can see the fun.
 
I wish you all a Happy New Year.
And thank you for your support.
It's good to know many lovely people,
Are there when problems you get caught.
 
May it be a peaceful new year,
Let happiness know no bounds.
And to you all the other side of the pond.
May laughter be a continual sound.

    Howdy. I'm off to work today. Then no doubt, shall watch the NY ball drop in Times Square on TV, and go to bed. No big celebration here. Enjoy the fireworks. And let's plow through 2019 with our heads up. Take care, my friend!

    Greetings Yvonne. A happy New Year to you my blogging Friend, although you are still grieving! Tut. I'll be staying in tonight and getting to bed early. I'll get myself a small bottle of whisky with some bottles of Pepsi and have a nice quiet drink in. Sadie is scared of the fireworks, and gets really stressed - so I'll be keeping an eye on her.
