LAST SUNDAY OF THE YEAR:
 
Well, this year is almost over,
The last Sunday has arrived.
I hope your day will be happy,
As endless tears I have cried.
 
But I must pull myself together,
There's shopping to be done.
I must get out and about,
And somehow have some fun.
 
The weather is cold, damp and grey,
A slight breeze in the air.
When I let Tennessee in,
He didn't have a care.
 
He ate his food with relish,
Then sat upon my lap.
Gave me a lovely cuddle.
Instead of sitting on the mat.
 
Do have a wonderful Sunday,
Look forward to the new year.
When sunnier days are around the corner.
Bringing happiness and cheer.

      Thank you as always Andrew, I have got my shopping though on my return had to have a hot coffee as it's very cold.

    rather bleak here. I think I'm off to a movie. Ray shall watch football. We'll meet in the kitchen for meals - it's that kind of Sunday!

    The cat in the picture has the right idea. I slept most of the afternoon. So lazy today. Tennessee sounds adorable, and he sure likes you. My cats are great company. Yes, this year is almost over. It sure went by in a hurry. Hope 2019 has warmer weather. Take care, Yvonne. Hugs.
