I wrote this many years ago but thought
it appropriate to re-post it.
It was published in my first book
"Negative V. Positive in 2008:
SILENT NIGHT
At Christmas time our hearts
Look back to yesteryears.
Thinking of our loved ones,
The ones who are not here.
But it's also a time of hope,
For on that "Silent Night".
God gave his "Beloved Son"
To help us see the light.
A light that will brighten the world
To let all wars cease to be.
That future generations
Can live in harmony.
Let's join our hands together,
Let our voices sing as one.
Let's not forget that Silent Night,
When hope for the world begun.

Greetings Yvonne. This is a wonderful poetic-piece that I thoroughly enjoyed reading - well done. Jesus is all about love, and He has caused so much peace and harmony already in the World, especially in my life by me acting Christianly to others! Here's hope for a much brighter, better future, where Utopian values might stand of worth? This is one of my favourites of yours - good job. Blessings. Love love, Andrew.
