THE WEEKEND COMETH:

THE WEEKEND COMETH:
With Christmas and New Year celebrations
Now in the past.
I hope the coming weekend will be one
That in your memory will last.
 
Me? will be off to market,
After feeding Tennessee.
The weather it is freezing cold.
As he sits here on my knee.
 
Positivity  still remains my attitude of mind.
As the days goes by.
I don't want a repeat of last year
When many tears I did cry.
 
Taking each day as it comes
Is my objective in life.
Why worry about what may never happen
Only brings heartache and strife.
 
So on this Friday morning,
With the weekend in view.
Have a wonderful weekend.
My thoughts will be of you.

      Thank you Alex, When there are public holidays like Christmas and new year it's hard to recall what day it is until the usual routine is re-started.

      I did have a good day Beverly, managed to get my backlog of laundry washed and dried then put my feet up. Hope your weather gets warmer......very cold here but dry.
