WET WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY:
Well the snow did not materialise,
The weathermen wrong again.
I have a bulging larder after shopping yesterday,
But that to me is no pain.
It is wet , windy and cold,
But I can put up with that.
I will have the lovely company
Of Tennessee my adopted cat.
There too are a few jobs to be done,
They will be done at my leisure.
When all are completed.
I will feel the obvious pleasure.
Have a wonderful Wednesday folk,
Both sides of the sea.
Between doing my chores today,
I will certainly be thinking of thee.

Greetings Yvonne. Get your chores done then you can relax. I'm going to see Family and Friends today, Sadie will probably catch up on her sleep? Glad Tennessee is still visiting. Blessings to your sweet-self. Love love, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day with family and friends today Andrew.
DeleteTake care.
Yvonne.
sounds like a good day for chores and an extra snack or two depending on your full larder. Take time to put your feet up and just stare out the window listening to the patter of rain. Sounds delightful to me. Off to work I go!
ReplyDeleteHaving a quiet relaxing day today Joanne . Thanks.

ReplyDeleteTaking it easy Sandra. Thanks.
DeleteHi, Yvonne! I'm not fond of wet, windy, and cold ~ That's what I define as "raw" weather. It must be nice to be inside with a bulging larder and a little down time. I hope that you and Tennessee have a good, cozy day!
ReplyDeleteHaving a quiet lazy day Funday Blue hope your day is good.
DeleteYvonne.
We're supposed to have four or five wet or snowy days in a row starting tomorrow. Like you, did my shopping a day ahead. Stay warm and cozy.
ReplyDeleteHope your weather does not turn out as predicted Susan.
DeleteTake care and keep warm.
Yvonne.
No wet here but boy are we cold.
ReplyDeleteWas it only a few months ago we were all moaning about the heat?
DeleteAppears we're never satisfied Diane.

Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteI quite enjoy a bit of wet and windy weather. Makes me feel all cosy as I listen to the rain tapping merrily on my roof.
Take care, my friend.
Gary
It's a good feeling listening to the rain on the window pane I agree Gary. Hope all is well and take care.

Hi, Yvonne! I'm glad that you woke up refreshed today. I woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, almost a blizzard. We didn't get plowed and shoveled out until late in the afternoon. Thank goodness I live in a townhouse that comes with plowing and shoveling. I hope my snow shoveling days are over. Whenever I catch the guys doing the shoveling, I always thank them, because it is a miserable job. I was prepared for the storm and spent the day making a big pot of bean soup which Terry really appreciated. Wishing you a great day tomorrow! Take care!
