IWSG FEBRUARY 2019:

IWSG FEBRUARY 2019:
Again thanks to Alex and his team for a wonderful
Group. I hope thiss month will be kind to all.
Have a great time:

STILL INSECURE:
I'm still insecure at the present,
For the same reason of months of late.
The loss of my son has really hit me hard
I can to you honestly state.

It has upset the Epilepsy I have endured
For many, many a year.
I find it hard to go out these days,
And life to me is full of fear.

I did venture out yesterday,
Only to be taken ill in the shop.
Was taken home by the owner.
Oh I wish these seizures would stop.

I do have one bright spark in my life,
That is Tennessee my adopted cat.
I see him when his owner is at work.
Many a hour he lays on my mat.

Do have a wonderful February,
Many happiness and health come your way.
With those wishes from my heart.
Do have  a wonderful Wednesday.
.

  2. Don't feel bad about having a hard time since your son's death. It's normal. Maybe joining a grief support group would benefit you. It helped me a lot and I made two new good friends. My dog has been a bright spot in my life since my husband died and I now live alone. Hope you feel better the rest of the week.

  3. You need to go out with friends. Safety in numbers and a lot more fun than being caught out alone when something like that happens.

  4. Not that I'm an expert in these things and I don't know you very long, Yvonne, but if your epilepsy is acting up, should you perhaps call your doctor for a change in your medicine? Its just that I type medical reports for a living so I pick up a little here and there, that's what makes me wonder if maybe the meds need to be adjusted? But of course you and your doctor know what is best for you.

    1. I personally think Susan it all comes down to "Acceptance" of my son's passing which I know will come. Epilepsy is reknown for beging triggered off by upsets and stress. Thanks for your lovely comment.

    1. Thank you Beverly for your support. I have approached the doctor who said that as I've been Epiletic for over thrity years it's on going so I have to wait until May.......if I was younger it would be a different story I think.

  10. Oh dear, glad the shop owner was there to help you. Try to stay stress free - so hard, but anything to help you stay calm and healthier. Very cliche - but it takes "time" to heal and you have not had enough time yet to recover from your loss. And "recover" means - able to cope and try to remember good stuff and carry on. Doubt I'm helping, but I mean well. Take care.

  11. I'm so sorry you're in a bad place right now. The loss of a loved one is very hard. Grief takes over and affects you all over, emotionally and physically. It's a shame you have to wait so long to see a consultant. Sending hugs and healing thoughts.
