TUESDAY AFTER EASTER:
After an extremely hot Easter weekend,
It's Tuesday dull and grey.
The town had the first holiday makers of the year.
Lovely to see I say.
The children on the beach,
With their buckets and spades.
Candy floss and ice cream at the ready,
Along with an ice cool lemonade.
It was a lovely Easter.
Back to work today for many I'm sure,
I hope this Tuesday will be great.
As good wishes I send by the score.

We had a beautiful Easter weekend here. We only get a couple weeks of real spring before it slides into hot summer, so it was much appreciated.

Now that I've spent some time in the Hove and Brighton area, I can better imagine the lively beach scene in your area. I enjoy watching children at play, lemonade and ice cream, and every-so-often a cotton candy treat. I'm so grateful to be retired and not heading back to work. Easter Monday is a holiday in Canada, but not one here in the states. Have a happy day!

It was good the weather was warm if the kids could enjoy the beach. That's always a fun time! Easter Day was pleasant weather here but we are due for a warm up with temps close to 100 by the end of the week.
