A SPRING WEEKEND:

A SPRING WEEKEND:
This weekend in the UK,
It's an extra long weekend.
For Monday is a public holiday,
As my good wishes to you I send.
 
The sun already smiling,
Shopping already done.
My aim today and the weekend,
I'm determined to have some fun.
 
I'll mingle with the holiday makers,
Beside my beloved shore.
Hoping for a sense of contentment.
Wishing moment's like that were more.
 
Chores have all been done.
Earlier in the week.
Yes dear blogging buddies,
Some fun I intend to seek.
 
May your weekend be wonderful,
Whatever you may do.
The little and big things you have planned,
May they all come true.

    Enjoy your long weekend. Mine is extra long - I'm taking vacation and flying up to Philly to see my dad - Sat thru Wed. So if I don't comment on stuff, that's where I'll be. Take care and enjoy the little things!

    I hope you have a great time out in the weekend sunshine, Yvonne! I can entertain myself endlessly with people watching and holiday makers are always fun to watch, especially along the seashore. Terry is in Nevada house hunting, while I'm holding down the fort at home. He sends me photos, and we text while I'm looking at pictures and floor plans on my computer. I shall walk to my neighborhood bar and grill in a bit and have a glass or two of wine and a light dinner. I haven't thought as far ahead as tomorrow! Take care! Sending you positive thoughts and a hug.

    What a beautiful poem and attitude today, Yvonne. I hope your day was exactly what you wanted. Enjoy the rest of your long weekend. We've had rain for two days. It's nice but enough is enough. One cat is sitting in the window looking out. The other cat is lying in the open door and looking out. Poor dog is outside, but he's in his doghouse. Not complaining really because in the heat of summer we'll be wanting rain. Here's to tomorrow.
