IWSG MAY 2019:

Happy May to one and all.
It's hard to believe May is here already.
A busy month of birthdays for me this month.
Thanks go to Alex and friends for maintaining
this wonderful group.
IWSG MAY 2019:
With May beginning today,
Where has the year gone?
I'm still very much insecure folk,
With the loss of my son John.

I appreciate that life,
Has to continue comewhat may.
But my mind still wanders back.
To that last October's day.

With the holiday makers here,
Whose precence in the area  is seen.
It makes life more interesting,
Than the past few months have been.

I wish you all a Happy May.
With all your hopes and dreams coming true.
As I continue to stroll along my beach.
My thoughts will be of you.

  3. It's normal to have your mind go back to your son's death. It's one of the hardest losses. I hope you have a good week with some times with friends that make you happy and peaceful strolls on the beach.

  4. I cannot believe it's May. Yikes. May here in MO is a stormy month. April 30 there were tornadoes and straight winds all around me. Scary.

    1. I buy flowers every week, I have two vases Diane, one for my husband, the other for my son. I can't visit their graves as one is in Spain and the other some hours away here in the UK.
But the garden and park flowers do look lovely.

  8. Hi Yvonne, I can not believe it is May already either - wasn't it just Christmas! I do enjoy the longer days and the chance to enjoy a bit of evening sunshine is always welcome after work. Living in a tourist area certainly means the seasons are marked by a lot of comings and goings.

  13. May? I can't believe it! I know spring is supposed to be here, but it's been cold, foggy, and rainy all day. I shall enjoy your ocean walks vicariously and am wishing I could smell the fresh salt air. We do have some spring blossoms popping out, and I hope the snow showers haven't killed them; but I am not stepping out to check. Wishing you hopes and dreams coming true, too, Yvonne!

  16. May slipped up on me, Yvonne, and I totally did not even think about May 1 being on a Wednesday, meaning IWSG. I think I need a new brain. Hope your May is filled with nice walks along the beach, rest, and feeling good.
