TUNEFUL TUESDAY:
As the heatwave is to continue.
I plan to listen to Danny Boy.
Listening to the songs I've seen him sung.
Filling my heart with joy.
Are you musically minded?
I know one or two of you are.
Will it be a "Tuneful Tuesday"
Or will you be too busy by far.
Whatever today may bring.
May it be in abundance of smiles.
A smile goes a long way in life.
Especially if you're travelling miles.
Do have a wonderful Tuesday,
As the day I go through.

I'm tone deaf, LOL, Yvonne, and I married a very talented musician who started playing the guitar at age 8. He has a gift with the guitar. I hope it cools down soon for you all.

I love music. Was in the Jr. High and High School bands when I was a kid. Also played the piano. I still enjoy playing it. The kitties aren't to happy with m music. They have no taste. Our day has been lovely, the first cool one in weeks. Hope yous cools down too. I know you enjoyed your music today.
ReplyDeleteI had piano lesson s from the age of four, took many examinations also. then the sixties came along with rock 'n'roll. I still love the classics though and of course Danny Boy. Much cooler last night so had a better night sleep.

Hi. Yvonne! I enjoy all kinds of music, but my most favorite is Blues. Danny Boy is a beautiful song, but it always makes me feel sad. Tuesday was productive for me, very productive. You should have seen my husband and I sliding a heavy credenza down the front steps on a rug and into the garage on the rug. That was only a bit of the furniture I moved. We're slimming down our possessions whether we move or not. I love being able to see progress! There is nothing like a good nights sleep in a cool room!
ReplyDeleteDanny Boy refers to my favourite singer Daniel O Donnell whom I know personally over the years.... haven't seen him in a while due to life's problems but hope to remedy that in the future.
