HERE'S TO A GREAT WEEK:
 
A public holiday here today,
This weekend has  been the hottest yet.
To hot for me to handle I'm afraid.
So remained indoors I regret.
 
This being the last week in August,
May it go out with a swing.
May all your plans go accordingly,
Like the proverbial bird on the wing.
 
Soon those birds will be leaving,
As Autumn comes into view.
Should your weather be very hot.
Enjoy the sun before it goes out of view.

      This past weekend broke records heatwise, it's still very hot today. Pleased your weather is cooler and more tolerable.

    Happy Monday and holiday. Too bad it's too hot. We had a lovely break this weekend with some rain and cool air. But alas, today is supposed to be extra steamy. Oh well. Off to work I go. Stay cool and safe and have a good day

    Always good to stay inside when it is hot! We do a lot of it here in Phoenix. Looking forward to September and cooler days coming!

    I'm ready for autumn and cooler weather so I can get outside more with my critters. Looking promising here, with even some rain in the forecast. Hope you have lovely weather too.

      It's been so hot this past week, broke Public Holiday records.

    We've been going back and forth between heat and cooler. Right now (Wednesday evening) it's in the high 90s or about 35º C. Yesterday it was more like 23º C. But that's life in Colorado at 6,000 feet/1828 meters. I do hope that you get some fine cool autumn weather.
