IT'S THURSDAY:
At present the sun is shinning,
Already my shopping done.
I have to remain indoors today,
So the workmen can have their fun.
I am the only one in the building,
So have to let them in.
Having to miss market day
To me is certainly a sin.
There are many houses in my street,
They too were hit by the gales.
Most damage done was to the roofs,
Which have put many people through hell.
Lets hope for better weather,
As we near another weekend.
I wish to get some extra fresh air,
As time on the beach I'll spend.

Its good that you are able to be there to let the workmen in, Yvonne, but it does put a damper on how you would want to spend the day. Glad you got your shopping in though!

Thanks Betty, got shooping early it is now 2pm as I write and no workmen have arrived. It is dark by 4-30pm so I see no work being done today.

As they didn't turn up today I dread to think how long it is going to take. Still weather permitting hopefully get out and about on Saturday/Sunday.

howdy - I'm back after a good visit with my dad.I had good weather but now in TX we've had rain and a cold blast. Hope your repair folks do show up - I hate having to wait on worker bees. Take care and I hope you get to market and beach. Have a super weekend

It's frustrating to wait on workmen! Since I'm working backwards, I know you are still waiting more than a week later, Yvonne. Our workout area was closed for nine months for renovations ~ three and a half months after the time it was supposed to be done. It opened again this week, and I'm so happy! Hang in there! All the best to you!
