HI ON THIS TUESDAY:
The weather here is simply awful,
Wet, cold and blowy.
Things could certainly be worse.
It could of course be snowy.
But with happiness in my heart,
As these new windows ...just getting around.
I have my son-in-law to thank.
Helping this "Lost Soul" to be found.
Are you all looking forwrd to Valentine's Day?
Me? I have no one in my life.
But all of you who have someone.
Let there be no tears or indeed strife.
Is the sun shining where you are?
Or are you still getting the winter blues.
Having to wear heavy boots
Instead of lovely shoes.
Have a wonderful Tuesday.
May each moment be filled with joy.
As I have to remain indoors.
I shall be listening to my Danny Boy.

Personally Alex I've been in the seventies for the past five years....loln seriously it is below freezing as I write very cold.

It's crazy the weather everywhere. Snowed again last evening in Missouri, USA.

My weather sounds like yours. Haven't been outside except to feed Happy and warm the blankets in his doghouse. Just hibernating where it's warm. It isn't predicted to improve for a few days, so we accept what we cannot change and smile. Hope you have a good week.

ReplyDeleteI've never been a fan of Valentine's Day. If you have a great relationship with someone special, it could be nice, but for those of us who don't it can be a little depressing.

Hi, Yvonne. We've had a lot of snowstorms in recent weeks. So far I've been lucky in that I've been able to stay inside. The sun comes out and burns the snow off the roads, but the piles of plowed up snow persist. The bunnies living under my front doorstep seem to be managing just fine, even if it is very cold. I love to see their hoppy-footprints in the fresh snow. Valentine's Day is not a big deal for Terry and me. We're just grateful that we have the gift of another day with each other, Valentine's Day or not. All the best to you!
