WEEKEND HAPPINESS:

WEEKEND HAPPINESS:

As we approach the onset of the weekend
Likewise the end of the month of May.
I wish you all a happy time,
Over the coming days.

Another month all but over,
With trials and tribulations no doubt.
Here's hoping your weekend and June.
Will be peaceful days throughout.

Have you got plans for the weekend?
I'm still remaining inside.
I will have to venture out someday,
But my doctor's word I must abide.

Again I will be reading,
Watching "Happy" shows on TV.
On Sunday it is my son's birthday.
The date I became a first time mum you see.

My how the time do fly pass.
Again happier days ahead.
Wake up with a smile on your face
As you get out of bed.

HAPPY WEEKEND:

  4. I'm largely staying inside, too, Yvonne. The governor of our state has said that all people over sixty need to remain inside throughout the summer. I escape for a few walks and to go do necessary runs for groceries or medicines. It's hard, but like you I'm reading, watching tv, and doing things I like inside. I'm working on the hardest jigsaw puzzle I've ever done. I find it calming because it's so absorbing. Take care, my friend, and listen to your doctor.

    1. Thank you Louise, I am finding it increasingly hard these days but comforting to know that there are many, many others in the same situation.
      Take care.
      Yvonne.
