A new week, new hope, here is a poem
I wrote again years ago:
This is my aim dispite pandemic:
Should you be feeling gloomy,
Don't reach for the pills.
Have a dose of daily laughter,
It's well known to cure all ills.
Also excercise is good for body and mind,
Even if it's a short walk.
You can do this with your IPod on
Or take a friend to talk.
Of course eating healthy,
Surely is a must.
Five portions of fruit and veg
You will feel much better, this to you I trust.
Drink plenty is another must.
No! not the scotch or gin.
Drink plenty of water,
So good for your insides and skin.
Now you have your body in shape,
It's time to think of your brain.
Think positive.....a good outlook on life,
It will take away all stress and strain.
