DON'T FOTGET TO SMILE:

DON'T FOTGET TO SMILE:

As wearing of a mask
Is now routine to us all.
The mask can hide so many things,
Some quite big, others small.

To me the mask hide my ageing lines,
At my age I've quite a few.
One can go without make up,
Ladies, does that mean you?

But it's also covering up
A most important  thing.
The smile upon one's face.
Is like a bird without a wing.

Don't forget to smile,
As on your way you travel through.
A smile to a "Down and Out."
is imprtant coming from you.

To the very lonely,
A smile is a must.
It conveys as I speak from experience,
Someone with a smile you can trust.

Smile through your day,
I'm sure you'd be surprised.
Even wearing a mask.
A smile reflects in your beautiful eyes.

HAPPY MONDAY AND NEW WEEK:

  2. I find myself doing the friendly nod...like I'm smiling but trying to advertise it better. Whew - we did get some rain last night - thanks for sending some our way. Now it's "cooler" at less than 100. Have a good week

  4. There are some good things about wearing a mask: It prevents sunburn, and when you're in a cold grocery store, it keeps your face warm. :)

Smiles are important. Thanks for the reminder.

    1. You're so right Sherry, another good thing a mask does
One can't smoke a ciggarette with a mask on so again it's good for your health.
Have a good week and take care.

  5. This is all so true, Yvonne. Smiling can help others and ourselves be happier. It is essential to remember to smile with or without a mask on.

  8. I love this, Yvonne. Smiles cover grumpy faces. Smiles make me feel good. (Not mentioning the lines a smile hides like you say.) Keep smiling and the world smiles with you.

  10. The real smile is hidden so the eyes are smiling in its place. Isn't it wonderful For you Yvonne to think of such an idea? Beautiful!
