MY HOPES FOR YOU THIS SUNDAY:
(an old poem but appropriate I think)
I hope this Sundaynbrings you peace
On the outside and on the in.
For inner peace is something special
It's a goal everyone can win.
Another hope this Sunday is happiness,
May this be in abundance to you.
Going around being unhappy,
Will not see you through.
Yet another hope this Sunday.
Is that you be free from apin.
If only for a few hours
Should it return again.
I hope this Sunday,
Laighter comes your way.
Laughter is the best medicine,
I'd rather have laughter any day.
At the end of this Sunday,
What I really hope.
Is that you can face the world,
And realise in all situations you can cope.

I wrote this many years ago, who'd had thought that in 2020 there would be a pandemic. Thanks for your comment Hank.

Lovely poem and wishes, Yvonne! We were not going out for dinner because Covid numbers and deaths are climbing in Colorado, but in the end we did ~ outside table well-spaced. I'm so glad we did! Take care!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday was good and restful. I watched a church service on TV. Will be glad to return to the live one some day, when I feel like it's safer.
