THE A TO Z CHALLENGE 2021.........F

THE A TO Z CHALLENGE......F

Welcome to my blog of travels

F is for FUENGIROLA  (ES SPANA)

Today we;re off to sunny Spain,

Fuengirola is the location.

I went there many times

When I was on Vacation.

 My late son pictured above

Took me there quite a few times.

He lived not far from the place.

It was there I wrote many thymes.

The scenery is beautiful,

A wonderful market place.

Those were happy days.

That will never be erased.

He passed away two years ago,

Just fifty years old.

He is so sadly missed by all.

Should I speak so bold.

Join me tomorrow

For the letter G.

I wonder where we will meet up?

Well you will have to wait and see.

OLE

  2. I'm glad you have happy memories of visiting here with your son. I know the memories don't make up for your loss, but it's good to remember the good times you had together. My daughter and I often talk about fun times we had when her dad was alive.

  5. What a bittersweet poem of treasured memories. For many years I had a time-share villa in nearby Mijas, so I know Fuengirola well!

    Here's my F!

  6. Sounds like a lovely place. You have seen so much of the world. I've been to California and the Carolinas. It must be exciting to see so much of the world. know you miss your son. My first son lived only two days. I sometimes wonder what he would be like had he lived. I'll know one day when we meet in heaven.

  10. Fuengirola looks lovely. I never made it to the beaches of Spain, although visiting Madrid and going on a blind date changed my life forever. I ended up living my life in the US instead of Canada. I'm glad you have wonderful memories of your son! Hugs to you, my friend!
