 MEMORIES OF MY OLD CAT:

Above is a picture of Tabitha,

A cat we had for many years.

She and our dog Sheba got on well,

Although somtimes there were fears.

We had her as a kitten,

Would you believe she too had Epilspsy?

But as she got older

The illness slipped away.

We used to take her to our caravan,

As the picture above do show.

She loved it there that I can relate,

More than one can ever know.

Then she became diabetic,

Two shots of insulin each day.

My hubby used to do that,

Until he passed away.

Then I was taught how to inject her,

Managed it after a while.

With full instructions from the vet,

I can know look back and smile.

She was a great confort to me

When a widow I became.

She would come and sit on my lap.

As though it was a wonderful game.

I had to part with her after two years,

Of us being alone together.

Such wonderful memories of a great cat.

Throughout all kinds of weather.
