A NEW DAY AND A NEW WEEK:
Was up with the lark this morning,
As there are things I want to achieve.
I took my "First Step" outside over the weekend
Would you my friends believe?
I only walked the length of the street,
But that First Step" was priceless.
I would like to proceed a bit further today,
While I feel this way I confess.
Let your new day and week be wonderful
Whether rain or whether sun.
May you have wonderful plans in view,
May life be full of fun.
Keep safe and well my friends,
Is all I ask of you.
And should it be raining,
Hope it stops and the sun shines through.
HAPPY NEW DAY AND WEEK.

May you make it two blocks today!
ReplyDeleteI have Alex, early this morning.Lovely to have fresh air.
DeleteHave a good week.
Yvonne.
Glad you stepped outside and took a walk. Excellent! I took a walk Sat morning since it was finally "cooler". Fresh air! Hope your walk today is good one and you can say hello to a neighbor. Take care and enjoy
ReplyDeleteThank you Joanne, I found the air most refreshing, ....not many people about though.
DeleteMust catch up with chores now.
Take care.
Yvonne.
Fresh air will do you good.
ReplyDeleteIn total agreement with you Diane.
DeleteYvonne.
I'm so glad you're getting out a little bit. Those small steps we take in life really do make a difference in feeling more content in life.
ReplyDeleteI long to have my hair done but don't think I'm ready for that yet. Am just getting used to walking round the block.
DeleteHope you're ok Natalie.
Yvonne.
Yay! You go, Girlfriend! 👏👏👏 I haven't been walking much here, because the air quality is very bad. The western USA continues to burn and a lot of smoke settles here. But I have been walking on the elliptical and the treadmill at our small gym. I've lost weight since Terry's heart attack, but I have to get back into shape. I'm not as strong as I was before the pandemic, but I'll get there. A refreshing breeze on you face must feel amazing after all these months inside. I am happy for you! 🥰
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the quality of air where you are Louise.
DeleteI also excersie within my home. I too am losing weight, hair thinning which has turned white......until I get to the hairdressers. This pandemic has caused havoc worldwide but we must be strong. Good luck .
Yvonne.
