FRIDAY THE 13TH:

Here we are at the end of the week,

What a lucky day for us all.

I hope this Friday the 13th 

You certainly will have a ball.

 

Also I hope the oncoming weekend

Will equally be grand.

Hope the sun will shine in abundance.

As we travel along life hand in hand.

 

Whether the sun is shinning,

Or should there be clouds in the sky.

The blue sky is always above the clouds

As we let problems pass us by.

    Friday the 13th!!! Arrgggh. Actually, my goal is to head to work and get done with work by noon. Then Ray and I shall go to our library's book sale - we need some cheap poolside reading. (I'll pick you up a book or two). Then, who knows? Supposed to have some rain roll through - we need a "cool down".

    Oops! I was in Vegas and never realized that it was Friday the 13th! I love the black kitty, Yvonne. Your kitty images always lift my spirits! I didn't see any cats, let alone a black cat. But I did see the beautiful full moon.

    And I did see some foxy men of various colors whenever I passed the Chippendale booth on Fremont. I'm being sexist, I know, but they are gorgeous! About 15 years ago, when our oldest niece turned 21, we aunts and Terry took her to Vegas to celebrate. We treated her to a photo with the Chippendales and sent a copy to her father, our brother Roy. That was a fun trip. Friday the Thirteenths have always been lucky days for me, and Terry took me to a great Thai restaurant that night. It was so good!

    I well recall my two trips to Vegas, I stopped at the Flamingo Hotel which was featured in the Elvis film "Viva Las Vegas". Pleased Terry was able to take you there.
