 PATIENCE ON THURSDAY:

During  this past week,

I've learned one important lesson,.

That "Patience" is a must

If  I got you guessing.

You see dear friends,

I must take each day as it arrives.

My goals won't be achieved,

That I don't want to be denied.

I so much need some life back,

But patience I must endure.

So each step I take these days,

Is better than the day before.

I think back to Thursday's past,

When to the market I did go.

Have a look at the new clothes,

Then off to have a coffee with friends and co.

Let your Thursday be enjoyable,

Whether you're at work or home.

The weekend not so far way.

A happy time for some.

Off I go when this is complete,

Another walk around the  streets.

Hoping the weather will be fine,

Hoping friends I may meet.

HAPPY THURSDAY:

  1. And here, I think that is the problem - after a year and a half of this nonsense, people's patience is long gone.

  2. Patience is a virtue and indeed we all have to have tons of it. Hope you did run in to someone familiar and could have a chat. We are quite rainy here which is odd for TX in August. Just strange days...I'm ready for the weekend

    1. "Patience Is A Virtue " was a favourite saying of my dear mother. Alas I didn't meet up with anyone again today.
Hope you enjoy your long awaited weekend Joanne.

  4. Yes, Yvonne, all we can do is take each day, each hour as it arrives. I don't think I am more patient after all this. Patience was never my long suit. But I know I've become more comfortable with and appreciative of being at home. I hope that you are soon able to be sharing coffee with your friends at the Thursday market. I've been to two farmers markets in the past five or six weeks. I get a big cup of coffee and a goodie. Then I sit away from the crowd on a rock or a low wall and watch the action. It's different, but Colorado's Palisade peaches are as luscious as ever. They're why I go to the market. Wishing you lots of patience and dreams deferred soon realized.
