Happy New Year one and all,

Hope you're feeling fine.

Did you have fun last night

As  you sang "Aud Lang Syne?"


Hoping this year will be peaceful,

And some normality comes our way.

That once more I can get to the beach,

Each and every day.


The sun is shinning here today,

To welcome the new year.

Likewise in your part of the world.

Bringing happiness and cheer.


Have fun today, whatever 

You may do.

From this side of "The Big Pond",

I'll be thinking of you.

    And cheers from this side of the pond. It's my first Monday now of retirement. So far so good. Sun is shining. It's cold but clear and I like that. Had a brisk walk. Let's dream of your beach, though. Take good care my friend.

    Happy retirement Joanne very cold here today. My New Year got off to a shaky start. Heard my son has Covid, so naturally am concerned and anxious.
