CAME TO SAY:

CAME TO SAY:

Tennessee came around early,
Very cold I may say.
He came to have his breakfast,
On this autimn Monday.

I come to you my friends,
More happiness I seek.
Not a good day yesterday,
But today is the onset of a new week.

I come to say to you all,
May happiness this week be yours,
Whether the sun shines continually,
Whether the rain do pour.

If contentment can remain in our hearts,
Then surely things can't go wrong.
Many awful events are in the world.
How for peace I do long.

So on this the first day,
Of another new week.
Life is what we make it,
Be it contentment or it looking bleak.

HAPPY NEW WEEK:

  2. Greetings Yvonne. A pleasant poetic-piece of hopeful hope that I enjoyed reading, well done. I always enjoy reading your poems, you are a good poet. Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog, they are greatly appreciated. Glad Tennessee is still visiting. Yes there are some who are worse off in the World, who I have empathy for. I appreciate the little things in life such as enjoying a meal. Sorry you didn't have a good day yesterday! Tut. I'm staying in today, cloudy here - I have my walks with Sadie. Blessings. Love love, Andrew.

  5. I'm working backwards, Yvonne. I am not the most consistent visitor. I am always playing catchup. I visited your posts for the first time recently because of your compassion and kindness for Andrew. I thought and think you must be someone very special. Sending you a big hug. I know this is a tough time fore you. You put goodness out into the Universe. Sending you back a tiny bit of the kindness you deserve!
