A WINTER'S SATURDAY:

A WINTER'S SATURDAY:

Christmas and new year
Now a thing of the past.
It's saturday in winter,
Makes some memories that will last.

Perhaps sitting by a log fire
Or taking a stroll.
Along a deserted beach,
Or perhaps friends may call.

Whatever you're doing
This happy Saturday.
May happiness be in your heart
Comewhat may.

Tennessee has been and gone.
But not before having a cuddle.
I shall be catching up on jobs.
As of late life has been in a muddle.

So whatever you're doing,
Whether rain or shine.
Remember the saying
"Only This Moment Is Mine".

HAPPY SATURDAY:

  1. Greetings Yvonne. A pleasant piece that I enjoyed reading. I am staying in today, besides walking Sadie. I saw some of my Family last-night. Glad Tennessee has visited you again. Thank you for the well-wishes, they are warmly received. Blessings my Friend. Love love, Andrew.

  6. Hi, Yvonne! I'm not the best in living in the moment. I'm always in my head. I do hope that you have had a good weekend. We've had a snowstorm, but at least the streets are now bare and dry even if there is snow piled up everywhere. Wishing you a great week!

    1. Weekend was both good and not so good Fundy Blue.
Pleased your snow has come and gone.
      Still bitterly cold here.

      Yvonne.

  7. I like that saying: "Only this moment is mine." So true. We have no assurance of what's to come so enjoy what we have. We can waste each moment or do something useful. Speaking of which: I must clean this house. I've been making excuses but it's time to accept what needs to be done. Have a good week.
