FEELING MONDAY:
The first week of the new year went quick.
It's Monday yet again.
Today I'm visiting the doctor,
Because of my arthitic pain.
He, the last time I saw him,
Advised phisiotherapy.
When the appontment came through,
A long wait awaits me.
The nineth of June would you believe?
I thought it was a joke.
It's now I am in pain.
And my spirit for living is broke.
Tennesee has had his meal,
He is wonderful to have around.
He dosen't ask for much I declare,
As he lays there not making a sound.
May your Monday be wonderful,
Happy and harmonius in every way.
I hope it's warmer wherever you may be,
Is what I would like to say.

Greetings Yvonne. A well-written piece that I enjoyed reading, well done. I too have an appointment in June to access a lump I have on my thigh, when it is now I want it removed! Tut. I hope you get some alternative treatment from your Doctor? Thank you for the well-wishes, they are warmly received. It is cloudy and warm here in Chester at the moment. Blessings. Love love, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteIt's wrong you should have to wait until June with a lump Andrew. What is the NHS playing at these days?
DeleteThanks for your most welcomed comment.
Yvonne.
Happy Monday, I guess. It's warm here, so I won't complain. And I have no pain. Hope yours gets fixed up quick. Take care
ReplyDeleteThanks Joanne, I learned today one has to be a patient patient.
DeleteEnjoy your new week.
Yvonne.
I hope the doctor can do something for you now.
ReplyDeleteMy and your hopes were dashed Alex. Have to wait for treatment.
DeleteThanks for your concern. Enjoy this new week.
Yvonne.
Hope you're feeling better soon. I'm looking forward to spending my day with my doggie.
ReplyDeleteThaank you Natalie, I don't think it's acceptable that people have to put up with pain these days. Hope you have a lovely day with your doggie sounds great.

Sorry you are feeling puny. Arthritis is the pits isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat's a long wait.
My arthitis is contributed from major back surgery when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteOur Health Service appears to keep patients my age waiting for treatment which to me is inhuman.
Hope you have a great week Sandra.
Yvonne.
Waiting sure stinks for health stuff no matter what it is.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right Pat.

That is terrible that you have to wait so long. I've heard similar complaints of waiting time from people in your part of the world. The wet weather doesn't help the arthritis.
ReplyDeleteI have come to the conclusion that once one is past retirement age our health service puts you on the back burner.
DeleteThat's so true about the weather contributing to the pain of arthitis Susan. Thanks for your comment.
Yvonne.
The Monday kitty picture made me smile, Yvonne. I'm sorry that you are in pain. I have arthritis in my feet, and I have found that moving slowly to loosen things up and then walking helps. I hope you find something that makes things easier for you!
ReplyDeleteYes it was a sweet picture Fundy, I hope your Arthitis is not too painful. Take care.
