HAPPY FRIDAY AND WEEKEND:
Friday has arrived once more.
Dont the weeks just fly by?
I hope your day is successful
If you're my way, pop in and say "Hi".
Then there is the weekend.
Relaxation for you on the cards?
Or will you be out shopping.
Will parting with money be hard?
Here in the UK, It's a public holiday weekend.
With days off for most folk on Monday.
The last holiday before Christmas,
I tell no word of a lie.
Already Christmas cards in some shops,
As the hot sun has a smile on it's face.
All thoughts of Christmas from my mind
I'm trying hard to erase.
Do have a wonderful Friday,
Likewise the weekend.
I shall be reliving happy memories
As time on the beach I'll spend.

Happy Friday to you. I just have to get through work and then we are off on a short jaunt to Aunt Pat's house. It will be very hot - so I have lots of reading material. But she's fun and we'll have plenty of laughs. Enjoy your beach time.

Was at the store last night and seeing they were clearing summer things away, making room for Christmas. Too early for me! I hope you have a good weekend Yvonne! Saturdays are always busy for me with working and then having grandson and family over. Sundays are a bit of a day of rest which is always welcomed.

Enjoy your weekend at the beach or wherever you may be. Saturday we have a yearly bicycle race where people come from all over. The road I live on is part of the 50 mile race, so I'll see bicyclists zooming past most of the morning. Tiger and I will take our usual walk. Then I'm back to my writing. And maybe playing catch with Happy, while Patches watches.

Yes, time does fly! It keeps getting away from me, Yvonne. I hope that you had a happy time reminiscing and enjoying the sea. On Friday I packed a cooler with homemade potato salad, cold cuts and cheeses, strawberries, chocolate, and wine. Then we drove an hour to the downtown condo that Terry's sister and brother-in-law were moving into. We helped as much as we could, even though there were movers and even though my back was still sore from my fall. Then I laid out a late lunch and we toasted the move with wine. We drove an hour to get home, and Terry took me out for a late, light dinner, and one glass of wine (which I sipped very slowly). Boy was it great to zone out and just be! I've been up and at it ever since prepping our house to move, even though it looks like we will be here to the spring.
