HAPPY FRIDAY/WEEKEND:

HAPPY FRIDAY /WEEKEND:
We near the end of the week
A most upsetting week.
As we go into the weekend.
Some peace of mind I seek.

I must keep my feet ,
Firmly on the ground.
Ignoring the unhappiness,
In my life I found.

One has to keep looking
Upwards to the sky.
Above the clouds it's blue.
As life travels by.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
May all your dreams and plans come true.
Hopefully the rain will cease.
Going to the beach I will think of you.

  2. very good poem as you face life and worth through your troubles. Indeed, look up and out as you go to the beach. Smile for no reason at a market, and someone will smile back. Take care

  5. Hi, Yvonne! I hope that you get a good walk by the beach in this weekend! I miss being by the ocean. My mantra throughout my life has been "next step, next step." It's gotten me through a lot. I'm glad that you saw Danny Boy on tv ~ here's hoping you get to hear him sing in person soon! Hugs to you!

  8. I hope you get some dry weather and go out and see some cheerful Christmas light. One year is a short time for grief. I'm sure it's still sharp and painful. Hugs across the pond to you.
