ENJOY THIS THURSDAY:

Still having broadband problems
so get on line whenever possible:
ENJOY THIS THURSDAY:

Thursday already how time flies.
The sun is shinning brightly.
Alas I can't venture out these days.
As I'm in isolation beacuse of age...quite rightly.

I hope all is well with everyone.
As well as can possibly be.
Oh! how I yearn to take a stroll.
Beside my beloved sea.

I looked forward to springs arrival,
During those horrid winter storms.
Well the sun is sunning in it's glory.
Too bad this virus wasn't forwarned.

My daughter and husband last night,
Did my food shopping.... how kind.
They left it outside my front door.
Carrying the bags upstairs was a bind.

But I'm all stocked up for another week.
Their help I really do appreciate.
I don't want to be a burden to them,
That is something I would really hate.

Please take care of your selves.
In these days of global unrest.
I get terribly anzious of course.
But it's putting our minds to the test.

ENJOY THURSDAY:

  7. Sorry that you can't even go out for a walk. I'm under a stay home order but do go to the park with a friend most days and see my boyfriend a few evenings. I'm so glad that your daughter is helping you. I don't want to be a burden on mine either but sometimes we need a little help.

  8. I'm so glad your daughter and her husband could help you. I went to the grocery store today and there were still a lot of empty shelves. I guess the companies have a lot of places to send new merchandise to. Take care of yourself, for this, too, shall end. Have a restful weekend.
