GOODBYE MAY...WELCOME JUNE:
Today we herald a new month,
In all certainty we must have hope.
That there will be an improvement of late,
And above all we must at all cost cope.
This has not so far been a good year,
I'm still indoors would you believe.
The last time I went out was March tenth.
That's true...nobody I wish to decieve.
All the lovely weather,
The hottest May in years.
All that time missing the beach.
So far in practice to get there...yet so near.
Windows continually open,
The only fresh air I do get.
But there are people worse off then I,
So what right have I to fret.
Do have a good new month,
Whatever the outlook may be.
We have no control of these circumstances,
But we must have hope and tenacity.
HAPPY JUNE:

Hope June is the month you can get out and about again Yvonne!

Somehow Betty I don't think so. According to our updates which is conflicting to say the least. What I want to know is WHEN the hairdressers re-open is there still the risk of getting that virus????
DeleteTake care, enjoy your week.
Yvonne.
June - hard to believe, and yet it's here. We must keep chin up, listen to the birds, feel the sun beams, and carry on. Let's have a good week
ReplyDeleteYes Joanne it is hard to believe we;re into June, soon there will be Christmas cards on sale.

Yvonne.
Is there anyplace you can go for a walk where there's hardly people?
ReplyDeleteAs the weather have been extremely hot both beach, shopping areas in my district is over crowded, despite being a 2 metre space between people......seems like some don't or won't listen.
DeleteEnjoy this new month and week Alex.
Yvonne.
It certainly is interesting times, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteYes Sandra, one can't predict one moment from another these days.

Yvonne.
At least you can open the windows and get some fresh air.
ReplyDeleteThat's right Diane but I would like to venture out and breath fresh air into my lungs.
DeleteStay well and safe.
Yvonne.,
It seems like this virus problem will never end. Some day it will, but who knows when. Like you mention, some people are ignoring the danger and are taking to the outdoors, causing new cases to appear. I buy groceries, wearing my little mask. I feel so silly. Churches are trying to find a safe way for us to return. Some day it will end. Until then, take care.
ReplyDeleteYes Beverly, here on the coast the good weather brough many to the area not heeding the advice given. Hope this ends soon.
DeleteThose mask may look stupid but they are a must if you go out.
Take care.
Yvonne.
