HELLO AND GOODBYE:
Today sees the onset of a new week
Saying goodbye to November.
Another strange month I may add.
As long as I can remember.
I wish you all a happy week ahead,
Whatever you may have in mind.
I hope this week will be kinder to me,
Then the week we've just left behind.
I was laid up for a few days in bed
With arthritis pain in back and hands.
The cold weather I suppose was the cause
That we experienced throughout the land.
I hope all is well with you folk,
And safe as one can be.
We;re still in lockdown until Thursday,
So it's still indoors for me.
My daughter did my laundry last week,
As washing machine refusing to go.
It's been wrong now for a couple of weeks.
Such kindness my daughter did show.
I wish you a happy new week,
A week still filled with hope.
That soon some normality will reign supreme,
And once more be able to cope.
GOODBYE NOVEMBER:
HAPPY NEW WEEK:
Yvonne Lewis: 30/11/2020:
Hope you are feeling and getting around better. Ray's been limping a bit - cold weather arrived here and his knee isn't happy. Hard to believe we are facing December already. In a weird way this year has been fast and slow with a lot of crazy. Your daughter is awesome - very glad she's helped you. Take care and rev up for the week.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about Ray's knees. Can be vert painful in the cold. I'm still remaining indoors as to be perfectly honest have doubts about venturing out..... even though we are allowed to go for a walk.
DeleteTake care this new week Joanne and take care.
Yvonne.
Glad your daughter is still helping you. Glad your lockdown ends soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alex, yes, Donna and her husband Mike have been a godsend since March.

Hank
Yes Hank I am extremely blessed, Donna and her husband have been wonderful during this year.
DeleteThank you for your kind words.
Yvonne.
Glad your daughter is helping you. Hope you feel better soon. We're in lock down until early December at least. We're not as good as you are at staying locked in so the virus is out of control. I visited with my daughter in my garage for a bit today. That was really nice, especially since it would have been my late husband's birthday today. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteHope you're coping with lockdown Natalie, we finish ours on Thursday but I still find it a risk to visit my hairdressers....
DeleteI don't reconise myself these days,,,,lol.
Pleased you were able to see your daughter on that oh so memorable day.
Yvonne.
Sorry you were under the weather for a few days Yvonne. Its hard with aches and pains! Glad your daughter is still able to help you!
ReplyDeletebetty
Thank you Betty, I should be having cortisone shots but the doc says it plays havoc with one's immune system which is not good during a pandemic....... so have to grin and bear the pain.
DeleteYou take care.
Yvonne.
I hope you're feeling better now, Yvonne. I haven't been on line much latelyso did not realize you were feeling bad. Sending get well wishes to you that you're feeling good as new.
ReplyDeleteI really need cortisone shots in my hand but doctor say it plays up one's immune system......which is not good news during this pandemic so have to grin and bear it.....lol

I hope that you are feeling better, Yvonne! Arthritis is no fun, and back pain is miserable. Think of the late spring when, hopefully, we will have been vaccinated for Covid! You'll be able to walk on the seashore and blow 2020 away. This is one of the few years in my life that I have not walked by the ocean. It's hard to fathom. I've been trying to recover from an injured shoulder ~ Shoulder exercises are so boring, but pain is a great motivator ~ LOL! Please take care!
ReplyDeleteI agree Louise back pain is no fun, but can't do much about it at the moment.
DeleteTake care and keep safe.
Yvonne.
