Continuing my life of travels:
Q IS FOR QUIETNESS:
Quietness is a part of travelling,
When after all is said and done.
Away from queues at airports,
Or perhpas walking in the sun.
When all the concerts are over,
The travelling on the road.
One can sit and relax,
And shed ones heavy load.
So until the next tour commences,
Take life easy and relax.
Let the quietness wash over you.
It's wonderful...... that's a fact.

excellent Q word because it is so true after the hustle, bustle, and excitement of travel. One must sit and contemplate, reflect, on the joys one experienced. Perfect. Plus not many Q places to visit - Quito, Queenstown, Quebec

What an important point you make, Yvonne. Some of my most vivid travel memories are of quiet experiences. Perhaps because they are so rare. You can feel the earth breathe.
